Ketty Jiang 姜忆舲, Fudan University, Shanghai, China (Team Leader) – 通过使用东村族网站，可以在更短的时间内帮助更多的人，这是很有意义的实习机会。我希望可以学习更多的与不同的人沟通、交流的方法，更重要的是帮助更多需要帮助的人。从高中起就参与许多类似的志愿者活动，学到了很多志愿者服务的方法，到了大学希望可以使自己参与的志愿者活动更有效，真正对需要帮助的人有用，所以这种想法激励我继续参加志愿者工作。

Thu Hien Tran, Dong Do University, Hanoi, Vietnam – I hope I can have in-depth knowledge of global issues, social injustices, and solutions which are very serious problems in this century. I also want to attend humanitarian project with an NGO to gain first-hand experience. I do volunteer work in Vietnam and I really enjoy it. I know that with just something small I can bring smile to a lot of people out there. I hope that I can make the young people these day concern more about other people and want to help the poor people.

Mia Sheng, Fudan University, Shanghai, China – I believe EVSS would be a great opportunity to provide my support for the young scholars, as well as acquiring experience in blogging and working with non-profit projects. I have always been interested in working with non-profit and NGOs. I wish to be part of community like eastvillagers and meet new friends who also share the similar interests.

Wang Huan, Xian University, Xian, China - 在东村族已经有一段时间了，这个暑假还参加了小红巾的夏令营。东村族已经成为了生活的一部分，让我感受到在网络上，我们还有一个温馨的家。能看见需要帮助的人们的苦难，倾听他们的声音，并且还能用个人微薄的力量为他们做一些事情，这就是我想要成为东村组服务实习生的原因和目的。在大学里，我参加了很多社团，进行了许多次的调研实践，觉得一个好的组织不是要由谁来领导命令，而是需要把每个人团结起来，动员每个人的服务热情，这样的话，一个组织才能充满激情和动力。所以，我想要成为一个服务者，而不是控制者。年轻人最不缺少的就是活力和热情，但是往往不能得到很好的实践机会，我希望可以从东村族这个平台开始，给他们释放热情的空间，让他们从实践的参与者，变为实践活动的组织者，策划者。

Teddy Shih, Sanda University, Shanghai, China – 因为小红巾可以救患有先天性心脏病儿童，还有公益网络社区东村族是第一个，也是唯一的一个网站和创意。学到更多国外先进的管理，合作，公益方式和理念. 帮助别人，做公益原本就是件快乐的事。我会让更多年轻人发现社区服务的意义和乐趣所在。
